27th July 2003 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: w sw Wind Stength: 10 - 20 mph Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 20 Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Didn't arrive at Brog til 12.30 due to getting really hammered the night before at a family celibration Rigged big kit wind was a bit up and down and gusty but thats inland sailing. For the first 3/4 hour the sail just didn't feel right was just pulling all over the place couldn't see anything wrong but decided to undo out/down haul and rerigged things much better after this. I came so close to the magicical planning carve gybe today got all the way round feet change, rigflip still planning but just dropped off the plane for a couple of seconds after sheeting on new tack. I guess 8.5 sail isn't the ideal size for first planning carve gybe though. 4 stars so near yet so far |
